NC's mobile RPG 'Hoyeon' is heading for the exit, barely six months after it first graced our screens.

The Hoyeon global service team dropped the news on the 11th: the game's servers will go dark on June 16. Built upon the foundation of NC's established IP, Blade & Soul, this collection-based mobile title has had a rather short shelf life, lasting only about half a year since its global launch.

In a final gesture before the lights go out, the team confirmed one last update. Arriving on March 17, this patch intends to release all remaining content, including a new hero. They've also promised a flurry of in-game items via shops, exchange centers, and events to keep things moving until the end.

The shutdown process is being rolled out in stages. Paid item sales were halted following the update on the 10th. Come June 16, the game download, live service, and official website operations will cease entirely, though the site itself will linger for a bit longer before final closure on August 4.

As for the monetary side of things, a refund policy is in place. Purchases made within the last three months as of the 10th will be eligible for a full refund where possible. The specifics on how to claim your money back will depend on your platform, with further details arriving in a separate notice on the 17th.
