Gravity has just rolled out 'Hugel,' a fresh region for its 2D MMORPG, The Ragnarok, kicking off a celebratory event on the 24th. Conceptually styled as a resort town tucked away in the northernmost reaches of the Republic of Schwarzwald, this update introduces five new maps and a fresh batch of monsters.

In this new Hugel region, you can explore diverse locales such as Hugel Field and the Abyss Lake. The area is populated by monsters ranging from level 160 to 200, and you will also run into new mini-bosses, including the Mutant Dragonoid and the Hydrolancer.

To mark the arrival of Hugel, Gravity is running a series of events until 5 AM on March 31st. Players at base level 55 or higher can dive into the 'Summit of the Monarch' event, where monster hunting yields specific rewards. Complete your weekly quests to earn items like the All-Purpose A Card, and if you manage to climb the weekly rankings, you’ll walk away with Ancient Language Scrolls and 20,000,000 Zeny.

There is also something for everyone from base level 20 and up with daily participation events. Simply log in for seven days to snag daily rewards like Odin's Eye and Sky Blue Crystals. The '7-Day Battle Pass' encourages you to level up through quest completion to earn rewards such as Old Card Albums and Ores of the Blacksmith God. Reach level 15 on the pass, and you’ll get an extra Ore of the Blacksmith God as a bonus.

Gravity's PM for The Ragnarok, Jung Joo-hee, noted, "We have worked hard to provide a fresh experience for our users through unique maps and boss monsters that can only be found in the new region of Hugel," adding, "We hope you enjoy the update and take full advantage of the rewards we have prepared."
