A new first-person action title based on the 'World of Darkness' universe, which explores the stories of monsters living in modern cities, has been announced.

Polish developer Teyon announced its new title, 'Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish' (hereinafter 'Hunter: The Reckoning'), at the Xbox Partner Preview on the 27th. The two-minute trailer showcases a hunter team setting out to eliminate vampires disguised as police officers, as well as various locations within the game.

'Hunter: The Reckoning' is an action RPG featuring a modern-day monster hunter as the protagonist. In a New York City where werewolves, ghouls, and vampires thrive, you must uncover their identities and defeat these monsters to reveal the truths hidden in the world of darkness.

The game supports character customization, allowing players to choose their protagonist's appearance, perks, and flaws, and features a base of operations for managing resources and equipment. Players can approach the game in their preferred style, whether by using force to subdue enemies, finding alternative solutions through stealth and hacking, or using charisma to resolve conflicts without combat.

The gameplay is presented in a first-person perspective, featuring a linear main questline with branching paths and various side quests. Notably, players can build bonds with companions met throughout the game, which can influence their personal stories.

Developer Teyon is known for 'RoboCop: Rogue City'. Piotr Łatocha, director of 'Hunter: The Reckoning', stated, "Players find themselves in a real-world city like New York, only to realize they have been living a lie. They discover another world they never knew existed, filled with monsters in the shadows. Some situations in the story lead to a point of no return, where you either start the fight to become the hunter or end up as the hunted."

'Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish' is scheduled for release in the third quarter of next year on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Information regarding Korean language support has not yet been announced.
