Mgame announced on the 14th that it will acquire and cancel 2 billion KRW worth of its own shares to stabilize the stock price and enhance shareholder value. This share buyback targets 411,100 shares, representing approximately 2.14% of the total outstanding stock.

The acquisition period is set for three months, from May 15, 2026, to August 14, 2026. Mgame will purchase the shares directly through the KOSDAQ market, with the number of shares calculated based on the closing price of 4,865 KRW on the day prior to the board resolution. Mgame plans to cancel all acquired treasury shares to effectively increase the value per share.

Mgame explained that this decision is part of its responsible management strategy to respond to internal and external market volatility and restore shareholder trust. The company continues to maintain shareholder return policies, such as cash dividends, while focusing on defending its corporate value in the market through this share buyback.

Mgame has maintained steady growth, achieving record-high annual revenue for four consecutive years, driven by the international success of its flagship online games, Yulgang Online and Knight Online, along with the popularity of the mobile game Ghost Online M. In 2026, the company plans to sequentially release an idle mobile game based on its popular IP, Ghost Online, and a new project reinterpreting the Punglimhwansan IP. Additionally, it is pursuing the publishing of at least one mobile game to diversify its game lineup.
