The arcane-punk ARPG CoA: Crystal of Atlan, developed by V Games under the Nuverse umbrella, is celebrating its first anniversary with a special collaboration with NieR: Automata.

This collaboration marks a major milestone for the game's first anniversary. Running from the 21st until June 18th, it offers players an experience that blends the existential themes of NieR with the game's signature high-octane action.

As for the collaboration content, the machine lifeform 'Grun' from NieR: Automata makes its appearance. You can tackle this boss in the 'Grun Battle' world boss event, which takes place every Friday and Sunday at 8:30 PM. Players can also enjoy the 'Hacking Operation' mini-game, which offers a different kind of fun from the main story. Additionally, the 'YoRHa Battle Supply' allows you to spend 'Chips' to level up and earn limited rewards, while 'Emil's General Store' lets you trade those same Chips for various exclusive collaboration items.

Collaboration-exclusive pets and mounts are also being introduced. The limited pet 'POD042' can be obtained through the 'YoRHa Oath' event, while the limited mounts 'Ho229 Type-B' and 'Ho229 Type-S' are available via 'YoRHa Medals'. To add to the collection, a weapon accessory titled 'Promise of Silent Light', a title called 'Glory to Mankind Forever', and six new emotes have been released.

Alongside the collab, a new class dubbed the 'Ghostblade' makes its debut. This class features a unique combat mechanic where ice and fire collide. You will be piercing foes with frozen steel while summoning a spirit sword to scorch them with otherworldly flames. It uses a dual-gauge system involving 'Ghostblade Energy' and 'Erosion Energy', which, once you hit the second awakening transformation, allows you to burn through both resources to deal dual-attribute damage.

The first-anniversary festivities are also underway. The 'Growth Supply' event rewards you once your character hits certain milestones, handing out legendary pet selection chests, costume pouches, and a level 70 +14 enhancement ticket. There is also the 'Journey Memories' puzzle event; spend your account energy to gather pieces, complete the puzzles, and unlock the rewards hidden within.
