Smilegate marked the second anniversary of their MMORPG, Lord Nine, on the 24th with a substantial update introducing fresh masteries and a new region. This latest patch brings in a novel mastery archetype alongside the newly unveiled Moneta territory.

The fresh addition is 'War Drum,' a music-themed mastery designed for those who prefer to support allies in PvE raids or large-scale PvP battles. You collect 'Rhythm' resources with every skill cast, allowing you to unleash more potent abilities.

The new Moneta region is located on the El Sera continent, and players must complete relevant sub-quests to gain entry. The area consists of Moneta Village, Dragon’s Nest, and the Silent Grounds. Players can acquire 'End Refinement Stone' and 'Ruin Refinement Stone,' which are used to temper legendary and mythic grade gear, in hunting zones where 'Resistance' stats apply.

To celebrate the second anniversary, a massive giveaway event providing up to 3,000 summon tickets is being held. Through the attendance event running until August 31st, as well as mission events and Tabula attendance events lasting until the 22nd of next month, players can obtain various summon tickets for avatars, artifacts, and runes, along with materials necessary for character growth.

Rewards for new and returning players have also been improved. Players can obtain various rewards for growth, and a new avatar skin, 'Rebel on Stage Noise' from the Rockstar Edition, has been added.
