Actoz Soft announced on the 24th that the first wave of the massive 20th-anniversary 'Shining' update has arrived in La Tale. This opening chapter introduces a new scenario where you are tasked with following a divine oracle to purge a despairing entity threatening the world from within the city of angels, 'Linford'.

The adventure kicks off in the new village 'Linford' and the 'Aether Road' field. You will encounter new NPCs like 'Ariel' and 'Haley', while diving into two fresh dungeons: the four-player 'River of Hatred and Vows', once a tranquil stream for souls, and the eight-player 'Amaranth Nova', a twisted place that dreamed of eternity.

These dungeons are crawling with new threats, led by the 'Elone', a boss reawakened by the power of the abyss. You will also face 'Nukalaba', a creature stirred from the remains of ancient gods, and 'Barbatos', who brings a lifetime of despair to finally end its long journey.

The developers have also streamlined several systems—item awakening, summons, legend skills, and transcendence skills—to make them easier to acquire. They have added features like imprint stones, an item collection deletion option, a scenario dialogue skip function, and a dungeon conquest system. Additionally, two windowed-mode upscaling options have been added to improve visibility for those playing in QHD and UHD resolutions.

To mark the 'Shining' update, Actoz Soft is rolling out what they claim are 'record-breaking' rewards. The 20th Anniversary Pop-up Festa is packed with events including 'Festa Check-in', 'Challenge Zone', 'Adventure', 'Play Zone', 'Ranking Stage', and 'Side Stage'. By participating in daily check-ins, quests, and missions, you can snag some significant growth-supporting items.

Furthermore, the '20th Anniversary Parade Attendance Event' offers goodies just for logging in, including a 'Season 3 Ultimate Pet Selector', '20th Anniversary Dot-Ring Balloon Registration Ticket', 'Ultimate Pet Only Box', and various weapon skins. The 'Ultra Burning 6.0' event also expands upon previous growth support, now boosting players up to Transcendence Level 2, 10.
