The pricing for the Korean version of this year's most anticipated title, GTA 6, has been announced.

Pre-orders for GTA 6 began on the 25th, revealing the local pricing. The Standard Edition is priced at 89,800 KRW, while the premium Ultimate Edition is set at 112,800 KRW. This is lower than the previously announced international base price of $79.99 (approx. 123,700 KRW) for the standard version and $99.99 (approx. 154,700 KRW) for the Ultimate Edition, defying internal expectations that the standard version would exceed 100,000 KRW.

The physical package for GTA 6 will not include a traditional disc, but will instead provide a registration code inside a collectible box to download the game. This is similar to the pricing strategy used for the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, Mario Kart World. Mario Kart World launched with a price point of $79.99 in the US and 89,800 KRW in Korea.

This pre-order phase covers the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions. Following the series' tradition, a console-first launch followed by a PC release is expected. Industry experts anticipate that the PC version will take about a year to release, consistent with Rockstar Games' historical patterns.

Meanwhile, both the Standard and Ultimate editions include the base game, the Vintage Vice City Pack, and a one-month subscription to GTA+.
