Wemade has officially wrapped up the Ymir Cup World Championship Season 2, its global esports spectacle. The event took place at the SOOP Colosseum in Sangam, Seoul, on June 27th and 28th. In a display of dominance, the 'Kings' server from the Asia region walked away as the undisputed victors, clinching both the World Championship and the Legend Match.

The Ymir Cup World Championship is built around the server-vs-server combat—a core feature of Wemade’s flagship MMORPG, Legend of Ymir. Following an inaugural event held in Singapore back in February, this second iteration served as a vibrant stage for global competitors and Korean players to meet, compete, and mingle in a physical, offline space.

The World Championship featured 20 elite clans from four global server regions: Asia, South America, North America, and Europe, with each region fielding five representatives. With a capacity for up to 500 players per match, the scale of the battlefield was nothing short of massive. Fans caught all the action via the official YouTube channel, SOOP, Twitch, and Facebook Gaming, racking up approximately 100,000 cumulative views throughout the broadcast.

Once the dust settled on the World Championship, the 'Legend Match' kicked off, pitting the champion Kings against a dedicated team of Korean representatives. To keep things fair, the organisers equalised character stats based on rank, shifting the focus entirely onto raw player skill and team coordination. Ultimately, the Kings proved their mettle once more, sweeping the Legend Match to secure their reign.
