JoyCity has rolled out a fresh content update for its mobile board game, Game of Dice, adding a new map titled 'The Secret of the White Village' on the 16th. The developer claims this update is all about injecting a bit of new life into the experience for its players.

The Secret of the White Village is essentially a reimagined take on the classic 'Black & White' map that once held players' attention. While the layout feels familiar, JoyCity has tossed in a few new mechanics to dial up the tactical depth. Notably, once the match hits the 19th turn, a 'reverse world' effect kicks in, causing all tolls to skyrocket. It is a strategic way to ensure those late-game comebacks are always on the cards.

Alongside the map, the update introduces a Rune system and an overhauled Prison system. JoyCity hopes these additions will push players into more intense psychological warfare. With these refined rules in place, players are expected to engage in even more cutthroat competition.

To celebrate the update, JoyCity is rolling out a series of events. Every player who logs in will receive a thank-you letter accompanied by 1,000 Gems. Furthermore, those who complete the newly added commemorative mission bundle will be rewarded with an additional 1,000 Gems.

There is more on the horizon, with various competitive tournaments including the Anti-Shield Tournament, Matchup Arena, and the Original Tournament. Winners will snag exclusive in-game items, and the spoils extend to the winners' guild members, who will also receive special perks.
