XD announced on the 20th that their relaxing life simulation game, Dugeun Dugeun Town, has received a fresh update featuring a collaboration with the globally beloved IP, 'Sanrio Characters'.

Dugeun Dugeun Town is essentially a playground for those who enjoy character customisation, housing, interior design, collection, fishing, farming, and socialising. Players are invited to live out their pastoral dreams by crafting unique characters and spaces to reflect their own distinct style.

This collaboration, themed around an invitation from the Sanrio Characters, allows players to explore themed spaces and participate in various events to bag limited-edition content. First off, new character costumes themed after My Melody, Kuromi, and Cinnamoroll have been added. These outfits perfectly capture the iconic colours and design motifs of each character, allowing players to show off some serious flair.

The housing system is also getting a makeover. Under the 'Sanrio Characters Colorful House' concept, the game introduces a variety of furniture pieces themed after the sweet My Melody, the quirky Kuromi, and the cosy Cinnamoroll. Players can now deck out their virtual homes in true Sanrio fashion. To top it off, the update includes a limited-edition sticker collection titled 'Sanrio Characters' Sweet Secret', a Sanrio Characters gacha machine, and various Sanrio Characters-themed vehicles for players to collect.
