Nexon is set to host an 'Overwatch Day' event at BEXCO in Busan on the 22nd and 23rd of this month.

This marks the inaugural large-scale offline event to celebrate the launch of the PC version of Overwatch under Nexon's Korean service, which began on August 12. Admission is completely free for any visitor aged 15 or older, with same-day entry available at the venue.

The event will feature a developer talk session headlined by Blizzard's Walter Kong, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Live Games/Mobile, Ben Bell, Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of Overwatch, and Aaron Keller, the Game Director of Overwatch.

Alongside the talk, the schedule is packed with creator special matches, a live drawing show by the Overwatch art team, a cosplay contest, and fan meetings with the voice cast and the South Korean national team for the Overwatch World Cup (OWWC). There will also be seven interactive zones where visitors can take on the role of a hero in a task force; participants can walk away with prizes like Overwatch hero dioramas and oversized mousepads.

To mark the celebration, Nexon is offering 10,000 KRW in Nexon Cash and a commemorative poster to the first 5,000 pre-registered visitors each day on the 22nd and 23rd. Furthermore, applications for the character cosplay contest are open until the 7th, with the final runway and judging taking place on the 22nd, where the winner will be awarded a grand prize of 3,000,000 KRW.

Meanwhile, ahead of the full-scale PC Overwatch launch in Korea, Nexon has unveiled an official brand website where fans can keep track of news, upcoming events, and community discussions.
