Krafton is transforming its offline brand space, PUBG Seongsu, into a summer-themed special event titled 'PUBG Seongsu Presents: Blue Zone,' starting on the 11th. This event is an experiential showcase that reinterprets the 'Blue Zone'—the boundary in PUBG: Battlegrounds that forces players to survive—as a 'Safe Zone' where visitors can take a break from the blistering city heat.

The event offers unique experiences through exhibitions, lifestyle programs, and creator collaborations. A collaborative exhibition featuring international artists from the global art project THE JAUNT and Busan's complex cultural space, Union Gallery, will be held. Artists such as Travis Weller and Stevie Shao, who draw inspiration from surfing and subculture, will conduct live painting on-site. The finished works will be on display at the Survivor Hall on the first floor of PUBG Seongsu from August 11th to 16th.

A brand zone created in partnership with lifestyle brand Met & Mel will also be available. A custom Blue Zone pattern inspired by the PUBG IP has been developed and applied to wave shelters, dome tents, and triangular tarps. The space is furnished with sand, sunbeds, and parasols to create an atmosphere reminiscent of a beach in the heart of the city.

Programs featuring various creators are also scheduled. On August 15th, a 'Frying Pan Run' will be held where participants run through the Seongsu area along a path shaped like the iconic frying pan, followed by an after-party featuring a sauna and cold plunge. The venue will also host programs involving DJs, music, and dance creators. Throughout the event, the space will operate as a 'Heatwave Shelter' for anyone to use, providing shade, dome tents, ice chilling zones, and free drinking water.

The 'PUBG Seongsu Summer School,' a summer season class program, will run until August 31st. Through these seasonal lifestyle programs, PUBG Seongsu continues to offer cultural and experiential content that PUBG players and general visitors can enjoy through free one-day classes.
