Com2uS has unveiled its financial results for the second quarter of 2026.

On the 12th, Com2uS released its consolidated financial performance for Q2 2026. The company reported revenue of 157 billion KRW and an operating profit of 7.2 billion KRW, marking year-on-year increases of 15% and 420.7%, respectively. However, the firm swung to a net loss of 3.5 billion KRW. On a separate basis, the company posted 134 billion KRW in revenue and 123 billion KRW in operating profit—a 4% decline and a 149.5% jump compared to the same period last year—with net profit dipping by 19.4% to 10.2 billion KRW.

The separate performance was largely buoyed by the company's sports titles. Revenue from KBO and MLB baseball games grew steadily, rising 11.4% year-on-year. Com2uS Pro Baseball V, in particular, hit record-high quarterly revenue and DAU, keeping the momentum alive. Furthermore, the company saw its operating margin climb by 5.7 percentage points year-on-year, thanks to tighter marketing and personnel management alongside reduced market commissions. It is worth noting, however, that RPG revenue slipped by 15.0% compared to the previous year.

Separate expenses fell by 9.6% year-on-year to 121.6 billion KRW. Com2uS credits this to a 30% reduction in marketing spend through more efficient live game promotions. Additionally, integrating AI across company operations trimmed labour costs by 2.3%, and the diversification of payment methods, such as web shops and direct billing, helped lower market commission fees by 17.4%. Conversely, the success of the baseball titles led to a 24.3% increase in royalties paid.

Looking ahead, Com2uS is banking on a fresh wave of titles to drive growth in the second half of the year. The MMORPG Zeus: God of Pride is set to launch on August 26, and the company intends to keep expanding its lineup by leveraging global IP to secure long-term growth. Other projects currently in development include the dark fantasy turn-based RPGs based on popular Japanese anime, such as Tougen Anki: Crimson Inferno, Gachiakuta: The Game (working title), and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
