KeSPA has announced that the 18th President's Cup Amateur eSports Tournament (KeG) national finals will take place over two days, from the 15th to the 16th, at the Gyeongju Indoor Gymnasium in Gyeongbuk.

The KeG remains the only government-backed national amateur eSports competition, marking its 20th consecutive year. Ahead of the finals, the regional qualifiers held from July 17th to August 2nd saw 1,328 amateur players compete across 16 regions. Each region selected representatives for Eternal Return (1 team of 3-4), Brawl Stars (1 team of 3), FC Online (2 players), and League of Legends (1 team of 5). The first day of the national finals, the 15th, kicks off at 10:00 AM with the Round of 16 for Eternal Return, the Round of 16 to 8 for Brawl Stars, the Round of 32 to 16 for FC Online, the Round of 16 to 8 for League of Legends, and both the Round of 8 and Loser's Bracket Round 4 for Puyo Puyo eSports.

On the second day, the 16th, action begins at 10:00 AM with the FC Online Round of 8 through to the finals, the semifinals through to the finals for Brawl Stars and League of Legends, and the championship matches for Eternal Return and Puyo Puyo eSports. The region that secures the overall championship among the 16 participating provincial and city teams will be awarded the Presidential Award and a trophy. Winners in each official category will receive the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award.

A total prize pool of 28,000,000 KRW is up for grabs, with 8,000,000 KRW for Eternal Return, 8,000,000 KRW for Brawl Stars, 5,000,000 KRW for FC Online, 5,000,000 KRW for League of Legends, and 2,000,000 KRW for Puyo Puyo eSports. Notably, the top two finishers in the FC Online national finals will earn a seed for the FC Online Futures League (FFL) Round of 8.

Key matches of the President's Cup KeG will be broadcast live via KeSPA's official Naver Chzzk, SOOP, and YouTube channels. The commentary team includes caster Seong-gyun Oh and analyst Seo-haeng Lee for League of Legends; casters Seok-hyun Hong and Jong-woo Lee with analyst Sang-hyun Bang for FC Online; caster Sia Cheon with analysts Hwangblin and Ibis for Eternal Return; caster Soo-bin Kim and analyst Je-hyun Park for Brawl Stars; and caster Seong-gyun Oh with analyst Jae-hyeok Bang for Puyo Puyo eSports. Non-broadcast matches will be streamed through official game channels and influencer personal channels.

Attendance is free with no booking required, and shuttle buses will run between Gyeongju Station, Gyeongju Bus Terminal, and the Gyeongju Indoor Gymnasium. On-site, visitors can enjoy various side events hosted by Gyeongju City, including the 2026 Gyeongju Water Pool Festival and eSports experience zones. The 2026 Gyeongju Water Pool Festival runs from the 15th to the 23rd, with the 2026 National Disabled eSports Tournament scheduled for the 23rd.
