The Gyeonggi Content Agency (GCA) is currently scouting for new residents to occupy Space S and Space Z at its Western Gyeonggi Content Creation Hub, with applications closing on August 18.

Space Z is divided into eight zones, each equipped with workstations for three people. Startups with two or more members and less than seven years of operation, or those planning to launch a business, are eligible to apply. Each company can request up to two zones, providing enough space for a team of six.

The deadline for applications is August 18 at 2:00 PM, with seven spots available in the existing open-seating area, Space S, and eight zones in Space Z. Residents gain access to office space alongside amenities such as a fitness center and a resource library. Furthermore, those joining this year can tap into IP and corporate growth programs, which include one-on-one consulting and mentoring sessions.

Take the case of MetaMate, which moved into Space S at the Western Gyeonggi Content Creation Hub in 2024. With support from the GCA, the developer focused on creating its own IP and has since graduated to a private office at the Content Venture Center. On July 31, MetaMate launched the Roblox title 'STORY RPG', which has already racked up 2.45 million plays and earned a spot as a recommended game by Roblox Korea.

MetaMate CEO Jo Hae-sung noted, "Residing at the Western Gyeonggi Content Creation Hub allowed the company to operate stably and focus intently on service development." Co-CEO Hong Geun-soo added, "The growth we experienced at the Western Gyeonggi Content Creation Hub was the catalyst for developing our own IP and launching our game. We intend to continue leveraging this stable environment to evolve into a competitive content company and game studio in both domestic and global markets."
