On August 19, Vampir rolled out its massive update alongside the inaugural 'Red Moon Festa'. The patch brings a fresh growth system dubbed 'Retainers' and region-specific large-scale PvP content to the table.

Let’s start with the Red Moon Festa’s login and mission events. The real headline here is the 'Re-synthesis Ticket' login campaign. It allows players another shot at synthesis based on previous failed attempts at Heroic grade or higher. Players in the Korea and Global regions can snag all three types—Appearance, Mount, and Skill Card—while the Global 2 region players receive the Appearance and Mount tickets.

Then there is the event world boss 'Bardun', spawning daily at 11:50 and 19:50. Rankings based on cumulative damage over five minutes determine the contents of 'Bardun's Treasure Chests', which include summon tickets and artifact enhancement stones. A dedicated event dungeon is also open for 10 minutes daily; grinding here nets you 'Red Moon Festa Blood Gemstones' and 'Red Moon Festa Shards'. Use the gemstones to upgrade your event seal, and trade the shards for Heroic summon tickets or the 'Primeval Vestments of Immortality Hair' special skin. Don’t miss your daily run.

The festivities don't stop there. The Korea and Global regions are introducing 'Retainers', a new pet-style growth system. These companions are acquired through summoning and offer two slots: floating and ground types. Retainers of Legendary grade or higher come with additional 'Companion Skills'.

For the competitive types, sign-ups for the 'VCC S1 Clan Championship' are now live, pitting the top Korean clans against each other in a 1v1 tournament. Meanwhile, the Global 2 region sees the launch of its own competitive 'Conflict' mode, where the winning clan gains access to the exclusive 'Forbidden Garden' dungeon to craft the new special skill, 'Bloody Flower'.

Other tweaks include the 'Magic Research Catalyst', a new material that replaces Trinity when upgrading to level 10 Magic Research. Global 2 players get the 'Mausoleum', where they can contract with a Gravedigger for coffin cards and items, alongside the 50-stage solo PvE dungeon 'Narichanye Valley'. Minor quality-of-life improvements, such as optimized pathing for melee classes and a multi-select salvage tab, have also been implemented.
