Look, let us be honest—Nexon has plenty on its plate, but Webzen is also busy keeping the grind alive. On August 27, Nexon rolled out a fresh guild feature, the Guild Raid Challenge, for its MMORPG R2 Origin, accompanied by a handful of celebratory events.

The Guild Raid Challenge is essentially a boss dungeon where guild members must rush to beat the clock and bring down a boss for loot. Running on a seasonal schedule, players can take on these tiered boss dungeons twice a week. At the end of the day, top-tier rewards and items are handed out based on final guild rankings.

Alongside this guild affair, progression systems got a bit of love too. A fresh progression feature called Loot has been introduced, alongside new entries in the existing equipment codex. Players can equip six different pieces of Loot to boost character stats, while also filling out the new codex for extra bonuses.

To celebrate the Guild Raid Challenge update, Webzen has pulled together a series of events. Until September 3, rewards will be thrown at all guild members jumping into the Guild Raid Challenge. Furthermore, those who push past a certain stage will bag extra goodies like high-grade transformation summon tickets and high-grade servant summon tickets.

During the same period, players who participate in the Guild Raid Challenge and share proof of the deed will be entered into a draw for material summon tickets, plus high-grade transformation and servant summon tickets, regardless of their final ranking. On top of that, a daily check-in event keeps going, handing out combat support items like polished engraving stones and potions of oblivion just for logging in.
