Look, let's be honest, Raven 2 has been making quite a bit of noise regarding the Abyss lately. The Battle World gave us a sneaky early look at Abyss Floor 5, its boss, and some shiny loot, while this week brings us the opening of Abyss Floor 3 in the specialized worlds. Expect some fierce competition among the specialized world players. Naturally, this Battle World chaos also brought along the Raven 2 special coupons, prompting some delightfully puzzled questions on the community boards about how to actually use the equipment special coupons. Abyss Floor 3 Opens in Specialized Worlds

Here is the late August update news. This week sees Abyss Floor 3 opening up in the specialized worlds. Matching for Abyss Floor 3 in the specialized worlds takes place exclusively within the specialized worlds themselves. The matching looks just like the image above. You will want to check the current matching status on the Raven 2 World Content Status board now.

Following the opening of Abyss Floor 3, a fresh substitution material for the Fresh Shashlik Skewer has been added to the Crafting - Event - Mysterious Crafting tab. You can now craft Fresh Shashlik Skewers using Abyss Floor 3 Resistance Potions as well. Make sure to check out the crafting recipes for the Abyss Floor 3 Resistance Potion and Compass. Meanwhile, Abyss Floor 2 has boosted the daily total acquisition cap for Souls of the Abyss obtained by hunting monsters during Peace Days from 150,000 to 250,000.

Additionally, Raven 2 is running an Abyss EXP Up event until 4:59 AM on September 2nd. Defeating monsters in the Abyss grants +100% EXP on floors 1 through 3, and +50% EXP on floors 4 and 5. However, this event will not apply to the specialized worlds, which already enjoy boosted EXP acquisition rates.

Do not forget to check out the new limited-time item collection either. It requires the Dimensional Wanderer's Badge, dropped from the Rifts of Dimension. There are six categories in total, and completing all of them grants Accuracy +3, Critical Damage +1, Max HP +50, Attack Power +1, and Defense +1. The buff remains active until 4:59 AM on November 25.

Raven 2 Battle World: The Siege Remains

We also have some Raven 2 Battle World updates. Ancient Citadel matches took place in the third week of August, with the GuardRoyalsWereMine guild lifting the Primal Battlefield championship trophy. The guild that secured a legendary grade weapon from Parnak in the Primal Battlefield was GardraonA from the Mors server. If you have been keeping up with the Korean region, that name should sound familiar. Participation prize money was distributed on August 24.

On top of that, the Battle World siege kicks off on August 29. The first battlefield prize pool offers a cool 8,400,000 Crystals. This reward could potentially increase depending on the special taxes generated in the Battle World exchange. Best of luck to all Battle World guilds fighting for the win.

A. It simply means that equipment you have already recovered cannot be recovered again.

Raven 2 is currently handing out special coupons through events and pass rewards. Naturally, a question popped up regarding the Event: Thanksgiving Festival Pass reward #15, the Special Coupon: Equipment. The poster asked for an explanation of the item description phrase: 'Equipment with prior recovery history cannot be recovered.'

Fellow players kindly chimed in with answers, and the gist of it is this: items you have already restored cannot be restored a second time using the coupon. Otherwise, you would end up duplicating the exact same weapon. The original poster then followed up with a clever query: 'So if I break a legendary weapon, recover it, and then when I get the next recovery ticket, break the exact same legendary weapon again... can I recover it then?' Apparently, yes, you can. Keep that in mind if you are agonizing over equipment restoration.

Gather Around! Gratitude Supply Box

Finally, some Raven 2 event news. Three Thanksgiving festival events have kicked off this week. All three will run until 4:59 AM on September 16. Let us take a quick look.

The first event is the [Thanksgiving] Gratitude Return 14-Day Attendance. Over the course of 14 days, it hands out 60 Gratitude Celebration Cake buff potions along with 10 random-box Gratitude Supply Boxes. The [Thanksgiving] Gratitude Supply Missions consist of six tasks, rewarding you with 5 Gratitude Supply Boxes every time you complete an assignment. Just hunt the specified number of elite monsters and dungeon creatures. The Gratitude Supply Box is a randomized box containing items like Blessing Stigma/Familiar 1-Summon Tickets, Rare Heavenstone Polish Fragments, and Coins of Glory/Devotion.

The third event, [Thanksgiving] Equipment Enhancement Support, is another mission-based affair. The tasks include: successfully enhancing weapons to +8/armor to +6/accessories to +2 or higher 5 times, enhancing equipment 50 times, dismantling items 100 times, and spending 10,000,000 Gold. The rewards are weapon, armor, and accessory enhancement stones, giving you 100 of each if you clear everything.
