Look, let's be honest, the Korea AI Game Association is now recruiting participating companies and indie game teams for the 'G-STAR 2026 Play On & Pop Up', which will run from November 19 to 22 at the underground level 2 plaza of Lotte Department Store Centum City branch.

Timed precisely to coincide with G-STAR 2026, the venue is set to operate as a complex pop-up store bringing together major gaming IPs, indie titles, and passionate fan communities. Expect hands-on game demos, merchandise sales, and community-driven programmes.

Participating companies will be given the space to exhibit and sell gaming and character merchandise, alongside running game demos and promotional activities. Meanwhile, 20 indie game teams will also join the floor to showcase their very own self-developed games and creative contents.

Corporate and retail booths will be provided with dedicated booth spaces, while the indie game teams will receive free market stalls. The participation fee for each indie game team is set at 300,000 KRW, with a 20% commission applied to on-site sales revenue. To help draw a crowd, the organisers have lined up Lotte Department Store app push notifications, in-store signage, and special promotions targeting department store members.

An official from the Korea AI Game Association shared their thoughts on the matter: "We genuinely hope this pop-up store serves as a golden opportunity for gaming companies and indie game development teams to directly introduce their contents to G-STAR visitors and test the waters of the market." The official added, "We will make sure to prepare an event where game creators, users, and fan communities can genuinely connect with one another."
