Through this booth, the lab plans to pre-promote BeaverRocks, which is scheduled for this coming December, expand touchpoints with gamers, and amp up the hype ahead of the main event. 'Enter-Tech GES Seoul 2026' is set to run from the 18th to the 20th of this month at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.

BeaverRocks is designed as a stage where creators can mingle with peers and showcase their games to the public, while giving visitors a chance to discover fresh titles and chat directly with developers. It draws not just hardcore indie enthusiasts, but family audiences including kids and teens dreaming of making games themselves.

According to Smilegate, a total of 611 creator teams have participated over the past four years, pulling in a cumulative 44,000 visitors. With international developer participation rising every year, it is steadily evolving into a global celebration. This year's BeaverRocks is locked in for December 18 to 20 at Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 of SETEC in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Future Lab has set up hands-on demo spaces featuring past BeaverRocks entries within the Seoul Game Alley Indie Game Zone at 'Enter-Tech GES Seoul 2026'. The playable titles on display include 'Pebble Knights' by Fifty-One Percent, 'Prostory' by Team O중에, 'Revenant' by Mayfly, 'Pungbibaksan' by Team Dino Power, and 'Module Berserk' by Studio Brachio. There are also cheeky perks for dropping by: visitors who add the official BeaverRocks KakaoTalk channel or experience the promotional booth will walk away with limited-edition merch. On top of that, attendees can snap up festival tickets at a whopping 80% discount off the standard retail price.

'Enter-Tech GES Seoul 2026' is an event tackling everything from K-content like games and esports to cutting-edge tech such as AI. It's a mashup of the 'Enter-Tech' sector exploring the fusion of entertainment and tech, and the 'GES (Game E-sports, Seoul)' sector aiming to boost the gaming and esports industries. The installation of this BeaverRocks booth is part of a business agreement inked between Smilegate Future Lab and the Seoul Business Agency, as both sides team up to foster talented young creators and game content. Meanwhile, a GES promotional booth will also run at the main BeaverRocks event this coming December.
