Nexon announced on August 17 that a new character, Archer, has been updated in Dungeon & Fighter Mobile. Through this update, the Archer, who wields bows and auxiliary equipment, along with transfer classes Muse and Traveler, have been added to the game. Alongside this, the Luke Raid, the highest-difficulty raid dungeon, has also been newly introduced.

The Archer is a character hailing from Empyrean who utilizes a bow and various auxiliary equipment. Muse, a transfer class for the Archer, is an intelligence-based buffer character who plays a bow-shaped instrument called the Divine Sunstring like a guitar to boost the morale of party members. The character triggers buffs by playing sheet music suited to the situation using Divine Power secured by landing attacks on enemies, and accessibility has been improved by allowing performances using just the basic attack button tailored for the mobile environment.

Another transfer class, the Traveler, is a strength-based physical dealer character who dashes across the battlefield utilizing a dedicated longbow and various tools. Efficient combat is possible thanks to the core passive, Set-Up: Fierce Assault, which cancels the post-delay of longbow skills and seamlessly links ground and aerial skills. The character unfolds relentless firepower through 'Divine Weaponry: Shooting Star', which pours out additional attacks using ammunition loaded during linked states, and a method of refining a new resource, Mist, to load ammunition for Divine Weaponry: Shooting Star has been added, allowing players to enjoy flashy combat traversing the ground and air.

In line with this update, the Luke Raid, the highest-difficulty raid dungeon, has also been released. In alignment with the direction of DNF Mobile 2.0, which aims for high freedom and light play, this raid has been revamped with a single-player mode as the main focus so that players can challenge it alone. The entry level is 90, and party play for a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 3 players is also supported just like existing raids. Consisting of a total of 3 stages, players can experience the story of the adventurers pursuing Luke's army, which has been secretly growing its forces, by defeating named and boss monsters that appear in each stage.

Upon completing the Luke Raid, players can obtain exclusive Luke Raid weapons, Luke Raid necklaces and rings, and the crafting material Monolium. With the auction coins earned as rewards, it is possible to participate in coin auctions held twice daily to acquire various items such as new monster cards.

Meanwhile, Nexon is holding multiple events to celebrate this update. First, the 'Persimmons Are Filling Up, Let's Go' event will run until 6:00 AM on October 22, where players can grow a persimmon tree to obtain various growth materials such as Distorted Prisms and Ryan Cokes. Until 6:00 AM on November 26, a growth support event will be implemented to provide experience boost buffs along with Epic armor, gold, and other rewards to a character designated by the player from level 1 to level 85.
