The Game Rating and Administration Committee (hereinafter referred to as the GRAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Seoul YMCA and the Korea Game Users Association on September 28 to protect the rights and interests of game users and foster a healthy gaming environment.

The main areas of cooperation include ▲ promoting joint events and PR campaigns to protect the rights of users of probability-based item games, ▲ establishing a joint response system among the three organizations for pending issues such as user damage relief related to probability-based items, and ▲ conducting joint research and sharing data to protect user rights.

Seo Tae-gun, chairperson of the GRAC, stated, "To protect game users, a cooperative system involving not only public institutions but also user groups and civil society is crucial." chairperson Seo Tae-gun added, "Taking this MOU as an opportunity, the GRAC will more robustly protect the rights of game users and do our utmost to create a healthy gaming environment that users can trust."

Kim In-bok, chairman of the Seoul YMCA, and Lee Cheol-woo, president of the Korea Game Users Association, also plan to share the expertise and experience held by each institution through this MOU, continuously driving practical cooperative projects for the protection of game users' rights and the creation of a sound gaming culture.
