Unnamed Moon has announced that the Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android versions of the yuri visual novel The Sound of Spring is Like You will launch on October 8.

The Switch and mobile editions will also include the brand-new side story, The Color of Winter is Like You. The Nintendo eShop page is scheduled to go live on October 1, while pre-orders are currently underway on the App Store alongside pre-registrations on Google Play.

This title is a refreshed version of the original game released on Steam in November 2024, which managed to pull off a sparkling 97 percent approval rating from reviews. It follows Aiharaairi, a protagonist wading through a gloomy patch of life, who finds herself drawn in by Aoi's singing voice. Set against the backdrop of a Japanese girls' academy, the narrative tracks two girls finding their own paths, growing up, and falling in love through one another. Spanning all four seasons from spring to winter over the course of a year, it captures the pair meeting, understanding, and loving each other. Clocking in at a brisk two-hour single route, the writer penned both the Korean and Japanese scripts directly, meaning you get to experience the unadulterated original prose without clunky translation layers getting in the way.

The newly added side story, The Color of Winter is Like You, digs into the past of Akagi Akari, who pops up in the main story. This side story comes bundled by default in the Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android versions, and will also land as a free update for existing purchasers on Steam and Stove. Furthermore, this revamp sees the game completely rebuilt in the Unity engine alongside a redesigned user interface. Text and translations have been polished up to iron out various pain points, while the Nintendo Switch version fully supports touch controls and handheld mode.

As for the pricing across platforms, the Nintendo Switch version will retail at 14,800 won as a deluxe bundle packed with an art book and soundtrack. The iOS and Android versions will let you grab the main game for 9,900 won, with the additional Deluxe Edition content going for 4,900 won. The Steam version costs 9,900 won, and existing owners get the update completely free of charge. The game holds an all-ages rating, with development and publishing handled entirely by Unnamed Moon.
