Two domestic games have secured Chinese imported licenses, entering the countdown for market entry.

The National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) of China announced the new list of imported licenses on the 30th. Licenses are the required permits for operating a service in China, and the list included '3on3 FreeStyle' (Chinese name: 3对3街篮) and 'Yulgang: Reboot' (Chinese name: 热血江湖：重启).

3on3 FreeStyle is a 3-on-3 street basketball game developed based on JoyCity's flagship IP 'FreeStyle'. Leveraging Unreal Engine for toon shading, distinctive characters, and real-time team battles, it captures the free-spirited vibe and fast-paced gameplay unique to street basketball. Preparation for local service kicks off through the Chinese publisher 'Hoga'.

JoyCity plans to accelerate the service of 3on3 FreeStyle in the Chinese market, riding the momentum of this license acquisition. Given that the FreeStyle series has been consistently serviced in China and has secured a local user base, Joycity aims to drive the expansion of 3on3 FreeStyle by utilizing existing IP awareness and service experience. Jeon Hyeon-gyu, head of JoyCity's FreeStyle business division, stated, "Through this license acquisition, a foundation has been laid to introduce 3on3 FreeStyle to Chinese users," adding, "We will do our utmost to prepare for stable service by closely cooperating with local partners."

Yulgang: Reboot is known as a mobile game based on the popular comic 'Yulgang'. Publishing is handled by Shanghai Kaiying Network Technology, while operations are managed by Hangzhou Chenyou Network Technology. The Yulgang IP has previously been introduced to China through 'Yulgang Online', developed by Mgame.
