Romance of the Three Kingdoms strategy game Romance of Machine: Decisive Battle is kicking off its new Ascendancy Season 1 (W1) on October 3rd. Alongside this, the game is celebrating its 100th day since launch with a grand centenary festival, bringing a special themed server and a bunch of fresh content and perks.

The first scenario of the Ascendancy Season is Hegemony over the Realm. Depending on the starting region, players can join either the Shang army or the Ha army faction, fighting for supremacy around key areas like Guanzhong. In the W1 season, the unique abilities, exclusive skills, and traits of the six major classes are getting a buff, plus new class-exclusive skills are dropping to seriously widen the scope for tactical choices and role-playing.

Along with all that, a brand-new map and strategic features are rolling out. Supply lines will boost resources and troop reinforcement, fortifications will beef up building defense, and maneuvers will enhance flanking, surprise raids, and rapid support. The importance of troop movement, repositioning, and logistics strategy is going through the roof, especially with new elements like benevolent rule, prestige, fortune, alliance strongholds, mountain paths, and neutral castles.

Coinciding with the W1 season, a massive 100-day celebration festival is underway. To say a proper thank you to the players who have stuck with the game over the last 100 days, the developers are setting up a special meetup where the team and community can chat directly. On top of that, various participatory programs and generous reward events, including a general selection chest, are locked and loaded.

As a headline event of the festival, a special themed server officially opens on October 10th. Influencers Sulyunsulyun and Kang Deok-gu are stepping up as alliance leaders to guide their respective squads and grow their power alongside the community. Pre-registrations for this special themed server have been open since October 1st.
