Look, let us be honest—you can now experience Jin Seung-ho, also known as 'Root', and the mystery adventure Buried Stars entirely for free.

Epic Games kicked off the free distribution of Buried Stars on its store, and this complimentary offer will run for a week until September 9 at 9:00 AM.

Buried Stars is a mystery adventure published by LINE Games back in 2020, which originally made waves precisely because the scenario was penned by Jin Seung-ho, the mastermind behind Black Room. The game follows a cast of characters trapped during a mysterious collapse at a live survival audition, desperately trying to stay alive. The developer brilliantly ramps up the tension by filtering interpersonal conflicts through dialogue and a social media-inspired communication platform.

Meanwhile, Epic Games is also handing out System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster alongside Buried Stars, though players in South Korea unfortunately cannot access it due to regional locking.
