Major9 is celebrating the first anniversary of the service transfer of its self-developed and published subculture RPG, Outerplane, with a massive 'Bunnymoon Party' update. This update has been carefully put together to express gratitude to the players who have stuck with Outerplane over the past year and to inject a fresh dose of adventurous fun into the mix.

The update brings a brand new 3-star companion, Demiurgos Lambda, into the fold. This companion is a Light-element offensive bruiser type, characterised by a high survival rate backed by damage reduction and self-healing abilities, leading the charge in steady battles. Demiurgos Lambda is being added to the permanent Demiurgos companion lineup and is also included in the 'Demiurgos Selective Recruitment' pool.

A brand new anniversary event dungeon, titled 'The Great Bunnymoon Operation of Gratitude!', is opening its doors alongside the update. The dungeon unfolds a tale where preparations are underway for the Luna Kingdom's first anniversary, leading to travels across various nations of Mersha and the crafting of special moon dumplings. Players can enjoy a storyline about discovering the true meaning of the anniversary while experiencing various figures and events, and they can acquire exclusive currency through event dungeon gameplay to exchange for a variety of rewards.

Alongside this, the existing five 'Elemental Towers'—composed of Earth, Water, Fire, Dark, and Light elements—are being expanded from 100 floors to 150 floors, with brand-new bosses awaiting at the 150th floor of each respective elemental tower. A fresh piece of content called the 'Tower of Creation' is also making its debut with a 100-floor scale. The 'Tower of Creation' offers the fun of devising unique strategies by allowing players to freely assemble companions of all elements without any specific attribute restrictions, making the most of the diverse characters and combinations they own.

A generous stack of reward events is also rolling out for players. The '1st Anniversary Bingo', spanning a total of 10 pages, lets players complete daily missions to participate in bingo and bag equipment, growth resources, and companion-related rewards. Separate 1st anniversary daily missions and a coin exchange shop will also be up and running, handing out useful gameplay goodies such as Dimensional Summon Tickets, Special Recruitment Tickets, and Limit Break Memories.

The in-game festivities are spilling over into the real world, too. Outerplane is heading down to the 'Illustar Festival 14', running for two days from October 10 to October 11 at Halls 4 and 5 of Exhibition Center 1 in Ilsan KINTEX. At the venue, fresh merch will be unveiled alongside various events and programs that visitors and players can jump right into. Models Kang In-kyung and cosplayers Jyomi and Kim Ha-ru are planning to cosplay as Outerplane characters to meet and greet fans dropping by the site.

An official representing Outerplane stated, "This 'Bunnymoon Party' has been prepared to go beyond a simple commemorative update, serving as a stepping stone to expand the content and operational direction we've built over the past year." The official added, "Since we have prepared a wide array of offerings ranging from new companions and combat content to events and offline programs, we genuinely hope you will rediscover the fresh charm of Outerplane through this update."

Meanwhile, pre-registration for the 1st anniversary of the service transfer is running until October 12, and participating players will receive their commemorative rewards starting after October 12.
