An official Warhammer game built in the Vampire Survivors genre has finally locked in a release date.

Auroch Digital has announced that the rogue-like survival game Warhammer Survivors will launch on November 10. Development is spearheaded by Auroch Digital, with production support from Vampire Survivors developer poncle.

Set in a fusion of the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes, the game takes place across the 41st Millennium and the Mortal Realms. Over 40 iconic characters—including Malum Caedo, Sebastian Yarrick, Neave Blacktalon, and the Stormcast Eternals—are featured, each boasting distinct starting stats and signature gear.

Every character engages in combat using designated weaponry. Bastian Carthalos of the Age of Sigmar faction swings the warhammer Uscavar the Thunderer to unleash lightning shockwaves, while Callis and Toll employ barrage techniques that bounce off terrain features. Saint Celestine, the Battle Sister, wields the Weapons of the Matriarch to eradicate foes, and the Arbites Vigilant utilizes a close-quarters shotgun.

The main game packs over 75 armaments, ranging from iconic weaponry like the boltgun, Astartes chainsword, and whirlwind axe to cheeky real-world references like Nuln Oil. By combining acquired gear with various upgrade items, players can morph them into devastating forms, such as a magic storm covering the entire screen. A progression structure is also in place, allowing players to endure relentless enemy waves, hoard gold, and secure an advantage for subsequent runs.

Stages include the ash-grey plains of Aqshy and abandoned Space Hulks, while the hobby table map—modeled after a miniature assembly desk—hides Easter eggs such as Titus, the protagonist of Space Marine 2, and the cyber-hound K9. Primary hostile factions include Tyranids and Skaven hordes, reinforced by the Death Guard and the Blades of Khorne legions. Gloomspite Gitz detachments led by Squigs and Troggoths also launch assaults. Survive long enough, and colossal beasts like Ghazghkull Thraka, Vizzik Skour the Prophet of the Horned Rat, and a Great Unclean One will show up to crank up the pressure.

New content has just dropped in the pre-launch demo. It features skirmishes against Tyranids and Skaven forces, alongside two fresh playable heroes: Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Ravenor. Progress from previous trial versions does not carry over, and records achieved in this demo will likewise not transfer to the official release version.
