XD has unveiled the preview for the new season SS14 'Tartarus' of the hack-and-slash action game 'Torchlight: Infinite' on the 9th. The new season 'Tartarus' is scheduled to officially open at 11 AM on August 16.

This SS14 'Tartarus' season introduces a concept where players recapture escaped prisoners and become the new warden to run the prison directly. Players secure prisoners through combat, manage prison cells, and help them grow. Afterwards, players even participate directly in suppressing large-scale riots. Depending on which prisoners are chosen and developed, and how various events and elements occurring in the prison are utilized, different outcomes emerge every time, adding strategic fun to the traditional combat-focused gameplay.

A new hero trait for Youga, 'Last Existence', also makes its debut. This Youga features a premise of hunting down oneself from another timeline to absorb that power, and is set to showcase a different combat style from before through automated attacks utilizing the 'Clockwork Core' and spacetime abilities. Players can build their own play style by combining various growth directions, ranging from combat utilizing time and space to swift movement and diverse magic usage.

The classic hero 'Priest Thea' is also being reworked. The existing hero traits are newly configured, and build options are expanded around the 'Blessing' system. In addition, new build elements such as new tower sequences, support skills, and legendary equipment will be added together. Along with this, existing progression content and quality-of-life features are comprehensively improved, and various support elements are planned to be arranged so that new and returning players can quickly experience the core content of the season and the fun of building configurations.

Detailed information about the new season can be checked through the official website.
