Tekken 8 Yujiro Hanma, the new character announced last Mayhas finally revealed actual in-game footage.

The footage was revealed on the 11th through the fighting game tournament EVO France 2026 held in France. A brief Yujiro Hanma teaser was inserted at the end of the trailer for Roger Jr., the third character of Tekken 8 Season 3.

In the video, Yujiro Hanma appears in the signature pose from the original work, sitting with legs spread between two chairs. The red hair, exaggerated muscles, and characteristic facial expressions have all been faithfully recreated in the game's graphics.

Yujiro Hanma is a figure with overwhelming combat prowess in the original work, nicknamed the strongest creature on earth. Even in this teaser, the character's personality is on full display through an attitude of looking down on opponents and confident lines such as, "You won't be able to win even after 100 years, not with the likes of you."

The released video merely introduces the character model and some cinematic flourishes, while actual combat techniques have yet to be shown. How the formidable fighting abilities shown in the original work will be adapted into the combat system of Tekken 8 remains to be seen in future announcements.

Players who encountered the video left positive reactions, such as, "The modelling turned out much better than expected," "The disastrously grinning expression is quite a sight," and "How can anyone resist this visual."

Yujiro Hanma is the fourth additional character for Tekken 8 Season 3, scheduled for release early next year. Ahead of that, a new trailer for Yujiro Hanma will be unveiled at the Tekken World Tour Finals taking place on January 17.

Meanwhile, the video for Roger Jr. released on the same day shows a kangaroo parent fighting with its joey tucked inside the pouch. Utilizing boxing and professional wrestling techniques, the character features new direction added to the attack styles of the classic series.
