Arc System Works has revealed the first three DLC characters for its fighting game Marvel Tu-hon: Fighting Souls, slated to roll out sequentially through 2027 alongside a brand-new combat stage. Jane Foster's Thor, Venom, and Jubilee from Marvel Comics are all stepping into the ring.

The announcement dropped on October 11 during the fighting game tournament EVO France 2026 held in France. Arc System Works laid out the remaining roster and rollout schedule for the Year 1 DLC, treating fans to a fresh promo video featuring illustrations crafted by Japanese manga artist Peach Momoko.

First up to bat is Jane Foster's Thor, a distinct entity from the traditional Thor who wielded Mjolnir as the Goddess of Thunder in Marvel Comics. Jane Foster's Thor is scheduled to hit the roster in the winter of 2027, though exact combat mechanics and release dates remain under wraps for now.

Spring 2027 brings Venom into the mix. Venom is the iconic symbiotic entity bound to a host, sharing deep-rooted ties with Spider-Man across Marvel lore. This addition pairs nicely with the existing playable character Carnage, bringing another symbiote-themed fighter to the roster.

Alongside Venom comes a brand-new stage, Klyntar. Klyntar serves as the home planet of the symbiotes and joins the fray as the latest battleground included in the Year 1 DLC roadmap.

Rounding out the Year 1 DLC lineup is Jubilee. Jubilee is a member of the X-Men blessed with the knack for generating explosive energy blasts. Set to land in the summer of 2027, detailed fighting mechanics for Jubilee will be revealed at a later date.

Prior to these additions, Phoenix Cyclops arrives on November 2 as the very first DLC character. Unlike the standard version, this iteration taps into the raw power of the Phoenix Force, combining optic blasts with searing flame attacks.

Phoenix Cyclops can harvest Solar Shards by letting loose with optic blasts. Gathering four Solar Shards triggers a transformation into Dark Phoenix, temporarily boosting combat prowess while trading away a portion of health as a risky trade-off.

Classic and Legacy costumes will also drop alongside Phoenix Cyclops on release day. Arc System Works noted that the team focused heavily on distinguishing the character's visual flair and fighting style from traditional versions of Cyclops seen in past fighting games.
