Japan's Shochiku Games has launched the Steam Early Access version of the multiplayer horror adventure 'Invoker: The Cursed Dice', developed by French studio Ludogram, on August 8.

In this title, players must survive an ever-changing nightmare alongside friends through a cursed supernatural board game. Every roll of the dice brings new dangers and unexpected events. On a cursed board controlled and brought to life by an enigmatic Game Master, players must survive unpredictable horrors, lethal traps, and curses to reach the finish line and earn a chance to escape. The voice of the Game Master is provided by Amelia Tyler, who has appeared in Baldur's Gate 3 and Hades II.

The Early Access version of 'Invoker: The Cursed Dice' includes four distinct themes: a haunted mansion, a jungle, an icy mountain, and a desert. Each zone offers completely different environments and challenges, requiring players to push through the board against various supernatural threats to ultimately reach the master board. The game features over 15 types of monsters and more than 20 types of events, combined with dynamic rules and randomized situations to deliver an unpredictable playthrough every single time.

To prepare for these unpredictable trials, players can utilize around 10 types of dice with different effects and cursed idols that grant special abilities to find a way through. However, great power comes with equally significant risks. Additionally, players can purchase upgrades, gadgets, and furniture from dedicated shops to gradually enhance abilities and brace for upcoming challenges.
