First-person narrative horror game Moonlit Vigil is gearing up for a Steam release in the first quarter of 2027. Developer Chomsky Games has outlined the premise, where the player steps into the shoes of a new cemetery caretaker and encounters bizarre events, while also revealing plans to drop a free demo this coming November.

As the caretaker goes about daily duties, the environment steadily warps into something deeply unsettling. Watch the first shift spiral into an unexpected nightmare that delivers a remarkably immersive horror experience. The title blends exploration elements, environmental puzzles, and jump scares to cook up a short yet intensely dense frightfest.

Moonlit Vigil harnesses PBR assets and Unity's HDRP pipeline to whip up a realistic yet atmospheric setting. Expect a playthrough to clock in at roughly 90 to 120 minutes.

Ahead of the full launch, a free demo is scheduled for November 2026, and you can already add the title to your wishlist via the Steam page. Moonlit Vigil is slated to officially drop on Steam in the first quarter of 2027.
