NCSOFT has officially rolled out 'Zen', the latest hero to join the roster of their idle MMORPG, Journey of Monarch.

Zen arrives as a Legendary-grade Fire-attribute melee hero. The character wields skills such as 'Hwabingjeoldo', which strikes foes while simultaneously buffing the critical hit rate of allies.

The design for Zen stems from a winning entry in the 'Fan Art Event' held back in February. By incorporating a concept directly birthed by the player base, the development team noted during the 'Channel Journey' live broadcast that the selection was made due to the character's uniquely creative concept and broad appeal.

The update also introduces new Bonding-grade heroes and magic dolls. Players can now collect Bonding-grade heroes including ▲Skeleton Warrior, ▲Mad Zealot, and ▲Evil Zealot, as well as magic dolls like ▲Cthun Orc Warrior, ▲Cthun Orc Mage, and ▲Cthun Orc Axeman. Registering these in the collection will grant a boost to attack power.

To celebrate the update, NCSOFT is hosting a live interaction session titled 'Channel Journey'. The development team plans to appear in person to address player feedback and outline the roadmap for future updates. The broadcast is scheduled for 8 PM on the 8th via the official Journey of Monarch YouTube channel.
