Neople pulled back the curtain on a new character, 'Angie Hunt', at the Cyphers 14th Anniversary Showcase held at the Gwangmyeong IVEX Studio on the 5th.

The event played host to 400 pre-registered fans. Cyphers Director Kim Tae-young, alongside commentators Jung In-ho and Binbon, spent the day engaging with the community, covering everything from a retrospective of the first half of the year to the roadmap for the latter half.

The team began by revisiting the major updates of the first half, walking through the process of refining the game environment and overhauling the basic combat equipment tab for a smoother user experience.

Looking ahead, the second half brings the removal of combat item farming, with all equipment slots now being provided for free. Furthermore, a 'pre-season' system is being introduced to ensure that data gathered from the test server translates more effectively to the live environment.

Players will now be able to target specific characters to earn battle pass sets, while the variety and quantity of new hairstyles craftable via blueprints are set to expand.

The 'Gold Label' project, a premium costume line designed to highlight the unique essence of each character, is also getting a revamp. The project kicks off in late August with exclusive costumes based on the unique item illustrations of Diana and Elfriede, with plans to roll this out to other characters over time.

The spotlight, however, was on the arrival of 'Angie Hunt', landing in the update on July 10. As the daughter of the Underground Alliance founder, Angie Hunt wields black flames. The character boasts a versatile toolkit, ranging from the 'Black Flame Orb' basic attack—which bounces between foes—and 'Black Flame Wedge', to a levitation skill and an ultimate ability, 'Caladrius', which summons a formidable bird of black fire.

The showcase was not without its fair share of fun, featuring events for both online and offline attendees. To celebrate the 14-year milestone, the team hosted a 14.14-second timer challenge and a giant dice-rolling mini-game, with Tera coupons handed out as rewards.

Furthermore, players logging in can claim the Golden Sunset Full Package and Isaac loading posters from Dungeon & Fighter Mobile. Those who complete four Siege matches will also receive a selection of title prefixes, the 2024 Art Collection, and 140 each of dyes and repair kits.
