Nexon rolled out a significant update for Blue Archive on the 8th, finally injecting Korean voice-overs into the main story alongside a duo of fresh recruits.

The initial phase of this auditory makeover covers Chapters 1 and 2 of the 'Countermeasure Council' arc. It follows the students of Abydos High School in their desperate bid to stave off closure. Local voice talents, including Cho Kyung-yi and Kim Hye-sung, have lent their voices to the cause.

This is just the opening act; Nexon plans to roll out Korean dubbing for key narratives like 'Clockwork Flower Pavane' Chapter 1 and the 'Eden Treaty' chapters 1-3 steadily throughout 2025.

Two new characters have also entered the fray. Seia, a Piercing-type striker, can reduce a single ally's skill cost by up to 50% via an EX skill, while also packing a shield to keep things steady. Joining the roster is 'Asuna (Uniform)', an Explosive-type striker who buffs the attack power of herself and Special students when unleashing an EX skill.

Beyond the voices and faces, we have a new Total Assault boss, 'Geburah (Field)', and a fresh event story titled 'Code: BOX: The Shadow Looming Over Millennium ~One Question, Two Answers~', focusing on students infiltrating the Millennium Expo.

By taking direct control of Seia and Neru to complete missions, you can snag expo souvenirs and mysterious lost items. Clearing these leads to unlocking 'Karin (Uniform)', an Explosive-type dealer whose EX skill deals more damage the lower the target's HP drops.
