Registrations are now open for the first domestic official tournament of Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond.

Cygames kicked off the registration process on the 14th for the Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond official esports tournament, 'Shadowverse Korea Open 2025 Season 1' (SKO 2025 Season 1). With a total prize pool of 30,000,000 KRW, SKO 2025 marks the first official domestic competition for the title. Across two regular seasons, eight players will be selected to battle for the right to represent the region at the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025'.

Applications for SKO 2025 Season 1 remain open until the 21st. The qualifiers are scheduled to begin on August 2, followed by the main tournament on August 16 and 17. The final stages, which will determine the grand finalists, are set for August 23. To qualify, you must be at least 16 years of age and a resident of South Korea as of the qualifier date. Applications can be submitted via the official SKO 2025 website.

The qualifiers, starting online on August 2, will require participants to construct two decks for a best-of-one (BO1) Swiss-style tournament, pitting players with identical records against each other. The main tournament will be held offline without a live audience, with further details on the match format to be revealed later. The winner and runner-up of this season will receive 7,000,000 KRW and 3,500,000 KRW, respectively. These finalists will then move on to the Grand Finals to fight for the spot as the Korean representative at the Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025.

Meanwhile, SKO 2025 Season 2 is slated for September. Additionally, the SKO 2025 Grand Finals, where the Korean representative for the Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025 will be decided, is scheduled for November.
