NCSoft is set to launch the Guild Wars 2 expansion 'Visions of Eternity' in North America and Europe on October 28 (local time).

Visions of Eternity marks the sixth expansion following last year's 'Janthir Wilds'. It introduces two new regions set on the island of Castora and features the 'Elite Specialization' system, allowing players to develop characters tailored to their preferred playstyle. Players can get a sneak peek of the Elite Specialization features from August 20 to 27.

The 'Homesteads' housing system is also receiving a boost. With the new 'Homestead Layout' feature, players can share or replicate their decorated spaces with others. The Castora island theme has also been added, letting players design retreats with a beachside backdrop.

NCSoft has laid out a roadmap for 2026, promising three major updates packed with fresh content. Players can look forward to two additional regions, 10-player raid content, and new legendary-grade gear. Once the expansion is purchased, all subsequent updates are included at no extra cost.
