Com2uS has unveiled a storytelling video detailing the backdrop of 'The Starlight', an MMORPG developed by Gametales and published by the former.

The Starlight is built upon a narrative that weaves together the multiverse origins found in original novels written by General Director Jung Sung-hwan, including 'Silent Tale', 'Holy Knight', 'Legend of the Lust Demon', and 'Golden Narcissus'.

This video is designed to help players grasp the lore and deepen their immersion by exploring the multiverse narrative and the pivotal events that have shaken the Myosotis continent.

The story begins at the heart of the Myosotis continent, where the seal on 'Narcissus'—a crystal of energy maintaining life and dimensional order—is broken. This breach allows for the invasion of the otherworldly kingdom, 'Lantefrontier'.

The continent falls into chaos. The hero, Lance Kremlin, who stood as the protector of Myosotis, manages to defeat the dark lord 'Wheal' and reclaim the Narcissus. In a bid to restore the unstable order, Lance Kremlin shatters the Narcissus into 'Starlight' fragments and scatters them across different dimensions.

Five years have passed, and Myosotis now faces a phenomenon known as 'Chaos', accompanied by relentless monster incursions. Five heroes are summoned from various dimensions by the call of the Starlight. You will step into the shoes of one of these heroes, embarking on a quest to gather the scattered light and mend the broken world.

The Starlight is slated for a Q3 release this year. Pre-registrations are currently open via the official website, app stores, and Kakao Games. Participants can earn rare mounts, spirits, and enhancement items, with additional rewards available for completing friend invitation and channel subscription missions. Those who join through Kakao Games also enter a raffle for prizes including an LG StanbyME 2 and a Samsung Odyssey monitor.
