Leniu Games has announced that its mobile MMORPG, 'I9: Inferno Nine', will host a month-long collaboration with the Naver webtoon 'I Alone Level-Up Newbie', running from the 25th of July to the 24th of August.

Set against a backdrop of medieval Nordic mythology, 'I9: Inferno Nine' revolves around the legendary world tree, Yggdrasil, and the 'God's Flame'—its coveted fruit. Players take on the role of an 'Awakened', a chosen individual tasked with harnessing latent powers to restore peace across nine distinct continents.

The crossover kicks off with a familiar trope for webtoon fans: the protagonist Kang Jin-hyuk receives a desperate notification: "Conquer the Tower of Trials, or humanity faces extinction. Go to the battlefield of 'I9: Inferno Nine' and win!" Craving a new challenge, Kang Jin-hyuk is transported into the world of 'I9: Inferno Nine' to embark on a fresh journey alongside the Saintess Theresa de Lorensia and the True Vampire Alice von Ataraxia.

The event is packed with the usual live-service trimmings, including attendance bonuses and a generous 183-pull summon campaign. If you manage to complete the daily collection missions, you will earn card packs containing random collaboration cards. Completing a set of six unique cards grants you access to an exclusive 'Sweet Potato' mount and an Alice the Vampire pet.

There is also a tiered pass system where you climb ranks by completing specific missions to unlock rewards. The pass is split into three tiers, available in both free and premium versions. If you decide to shell out for the premium pass, you will snag the 'Valkyrie Saintess Theresa' character as a special bonus.
