Mgame announced on the 31st that it has released an update for its classic martial arts MMORPG, Hero Online, featuring a new character, the 'Four Gods Shrine Maiden' Ru-hwa, alongside a series of new events.

The new character, Ru-hwa, features a unique combat style that utilizes powerful martial arts, various support effects, and randomized debuffs by channeling the powers of the four mythical beasts: the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise. Wielding exclusive weapons like the 'Spirit Bell' and 'Fan,' the Four Gods Shrine Maiden begins the journey in the dedicated region of 'Yeong-no,' traversing through 'Cheon-un-rim' and 'Nok-juk-rim' before eventually reaching the starting area of 'Jang-sa' upon quest completion.

To celebrate this update, a special event for the Four Gods Shrine Maiden will run until the 28th of next month. Participants can earn a special currency called 'Sacred Platinum Coins,' and those who reach certain levels with their Ru-hwa character will receive various items and rewards.

Additionally, a summer season event is now underway. Engaging with the event grants server-wide attack and defense buffs, and players can obtain items such as 'Golden Beach Lanterns' and 'Yeong-no Beds' for bonus experience. Furthermore, by gathering 'Summer Fruit Pouches' from defeated monsters, players can craft dishes that provide attack and defense boost effects.
