Daewon Media Gamelab, in collaboration with Compile Heart, has announced that the official Korean physical package for 'Scar-Lead Salvation' on PS5 will be available for pre-order starting the 7th, with a formal release slated for the 28th. While the game originally launched on Steam, PS5, and PS4 on May 30th, it did not support the Korean language at that time.

Scar-Lead Salvation marks Compile Heart’s first foray into the 'death-end battle' genre. It is a third-person shooter that tasks players with pushing through relentless waves of enemies while navigating dungeons that shift and reshape every time a new run begins.

You step into the boots of Willow Martin, a protagonist suffering from memory loss. The goal is to fight through mechanical legions to escape the claustrophobic confines and piece together fragmented memories. Along the way, the protagonist must rely on constant dialogue with an AI, which serves as the primary clue for uncovering the truth behind the chaos.

This roguelike experience ensures that every run features a new layout and fresh enemy encounters. You will be relying on a variety of weapons and skills, but be warned: death means losing your hard-earned gear and being sent back to the very start of the dungeon. The developer has also implemented a physics-based damage system where the armor and inner suit of the protagonist visibly shatter upon taking hits.
