The class change season for Raven 2 concluded in the early hours of August 13. Since it kicked off alongside a series of balance adjustments, it certainly piqued the interest of many players. The latest charts offer a clear reflection of the choices made by the top-tier rankers. The main talking point here is the Destroyer; after languishing for over a year, it has finally escaped the bottom of the barrel. It feels somewhat like a cicada that spends years underground before finally seeing the light of day.

At the time, the Destroyer managed to break into the Top 3 most popular classes across several servers. However, it only seems to have successfully put down roots in the Nox World's Mors and Metus servers. In Lux and Vita, it has largely disappeared from the upper echelons. On the flip side, it has poked its head out in the Mare and Solar Worlds, which I would call a stable position. In the past, it was incredibly difficult to even foster such competition against other classes; this in itself is a significant achievement.

A decrease in the Destroyer's slice of the pie naturally means other classes have snatched it up. The frontrunners in the battle for 3rd place are the Assassin and the Deathbringer. The Assassin has clearly gained the upper hand, showing presence in every world except for Nox, and even clinching the #1 pick rate in Vita-Salus. The Deathbringer, meanwhile, is in the phase of expanding its popularity, centered around the Terra and Solar servers.

In Nox and Kerum, the Vanguard and Berserker have bolstered their 3rd-place share. Nox, in particular, saw the Berserker, Vanguard, and Destroyer splitting the 3rd-place spot among themselves. There was simply no room for the Assassin or Deathbringer to squeeze in. Since these are worlds packed with popular and famous guilds, I suggest you pay a visit if you are looking for high-level rankers.

Full Class Analysis

In last week's full class analysis, the Deathbringer claimed 4th place, while the Destroyer landed at 6th. The former left its rival, the Vanguard, in the dust, and the latter finally broke out of the bottom tier. We decided to check back the following week to see if the Raven 2 class meta and hierarchy would be reshuffled. Well, it is time to draw a conclusion: the hierarchy has undoubtedly shifted.

The point of interest lies in the shifting shares of the mid-to-lower tier classes: the Deathbringer, Vanguard, and Destroyer. The Deathbringer saw a modest change of 0.2% points, which is not enough to stir up the rankings, but it has created enough distance from its long-time rival, the Vanguard. Now is the time to build a foundation to maintain that rank.

The Vanguard and the Destroyer show zero change, which is actually a good thing. In times of flux, not losing ground is just as important as gaining an advantage; it suggests their position is robust. While the lower-ranked Berserker did manage to gather some share, it failed to close the gap in any meaningful way. It occurs to me that the Vanguard and the Destroyer were once comrades languishing in the bottom tiers together. Now, they have left the former 2nd and 3rd place Elementalist and the mid-tier Berserker below them. It is a telling sign of how much the Raven 2 environment has changed.

Global Class Analysis

Some servers from the Global Legion Pia World have now joined the Raven 2 Meca Ranking. Character creation limits had been in place, but they have been lifting them little by little recently. Thanks to this, we successfully created characters on the Mors, Honor, and Metus servers. At the same time, our pool has grown to 1,950 players across 39 servers. A full-scale analysis of the Global Legion classes is not far off!

These three servers have had a massive impact on the charts. The Divine Caster, Berserker, and Elementalist, which had slipped in rank last week, have reclaimed their standing. The one to watch here is the Divine Caster. The Divine Caster in the Global Legion is on quite the tumultuous journey. It is the class that broke the Night Ranger's reign for the first time in Meca Ranking history. It has snatched the crown twice, with the most recent record being the 1st week of August Meca Ranking. Sadly, both were one-week wonders.

However, the Divine Caster has quickly recovered its share this week. Consequently, the Night Ranger became the protagonist of a one-week wonder. For reference, the gap between the two classes is a staggering 6.5% points. That is not a gap one can easily overturn. It is highly likely that the Divine Caster will cement its spot as the #1 most popular class in the Global Legion.

PVP Ranking Status

The PVP ranking is the most volatile part of the Raven 2 Meca Ranking. Records are reset every week, and participation and scores fluctuate wildly based on current events. Last week was a season of class changes and server transfers, so the atmosphere was a bit subdued. We predicted this would carry over through the weekend due to the Ancient Citadel.

As it turns out, that prediction was dead wrong. Instead, the KDA scores and peak records of the rankers skyrocketed. It seems the desire for PVP exploded as soon as the server transfers concluded. The #1 spot goes to 'RoyalMacroWorkerAdventure'. They sat on the throne last week with 62 kills and 1 death, and this time, they defended it with 385 kills. Holding the #1 spot in the PVP rankings for two weeks in a row is incredibly difficult; it is truly astonishing that they pulled it off.

Raven 2 Meca Ranking User Poll

The previous Raven 2 user poll topic was about the most difficult tasks to complete among the mission events. While compiling the results, it struck me that it would have been better to include a subjective entry. I am left with a bit of regret. Returning to the main point, the task that received the most votes was 'Eliminating monsters of a specific race.' Since the game does not show the race of the monsters by default, it is a task that requires a lot of extra effort.

The 2nd place, 'Acquiring specific items as loot,' is a bit more complicated. It essentially tasks players with farming equipment or farming/crafting event materials. However, the drop rate is a variable that is hard to control. Investing a good amount of time is the best one can do. It seems players find it difficult because the math does not always add up perfectly.
