The 2025 LCK Finals, scheduled for Sunday, September 28, will be broadcast live on the terrestrial network MBC.

This marks a historic first for the LCK to grace terrestrial television with a live broadcast. While KBS and SBS did air select matches during the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games when League of Legends was featured as a demonstration sport, a full-scale live broadcast of the LCK is unprecedented.

To ensure maximum viewership, the LCK Finals will kick off at 2 PM on Sunday. MBC typically reserves this prime Sunday slot for the KBO, their domestic professional baseball league. Securing this time slot serves as a clear acknowledgment of League of Legends esports’ status as a premier sporting entity.

The LCK and MBC are already looking beyond this single broadcast, actively exploring ways to expand their partnership. As part of this initiative, the two parties are producing a special documentary, set to air before the finals to help bridge the gap for casual viewers.

Meanwhile, the 2025 LCK Finals and the playoff finals entry match on Saturday, the 27th, will be held at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon. The LCK postseason, currently in the heat of the regular season, consists of a Play-In stage and Playoffs. The top four teams from the Legend Group, comprising the top five teams from the LCK's first and second rounds, advance directly to the Playoffs, while the fifth-place Legend Group team and the top three teams from the Rise Group—consisting of the bottom five teams from the LCK's first and second rounds—clash in the Play-In.

The two teams that survive the double-elimination Play-In stage will advance to the Playoffs, where they face the third and fourth-place teams from the Legend Group in the first round. The Playoffs also follow a double-elimination format, culminating in the finals on the 28th, where the winner of the winner’s bracket meets the survivor of the finals entry match. An LCK Fan Festa will also take place on the 27th and 28th for those heading to the venue.
