Nexon rolled out a fresh update on the 14th for the online action RPG Elsword, developed by KOG, introducing a new region dubbed 'Atmaram' alongside a formidable giant boss and a heap of extra content.

The spotlight is on the new giant boss dungeon, 'Temple of the Spirit King'. The narrative follows the El Search Party as they venture to the hot springs of Atmaram, a volcanic isle ruled by the Spirit King, only to come face-to-face with the Spirit King Magmuna.

Once the three-stage dungeon is conquered, players can snag new 'Atma' accessories of varying grades. If you manage to equip at least four out of the five available set pieces, you will trigger the potent Atma set effect.

On July 31st, the developers also expanded the region with two new dungeons: 'Breath of Magma' and 'Whistle of Water Light'. Clearing 'Breath of Magma' rewards players with a hefty chunk of EXP, while 'Whistle of Water Light' drops Atma Magic Stones, which come in various grades and options for enchanting weapons and armor.

For those looking to optimize their gear, Atma Magic Stones can be synthesized—combining three will net you a higher-grade stone or a different set of stats. The same synthesis mechanic applies to Atma accessories as well.

To mark the occasion, Nexon is running a celebratory event. Log in before the 28th to receive a '+11 Abyss-Submerged – Shadow Weapon Cube' (valid for 60 days). Additionally, players can rack up points through various missions to upgrade these into permanent gear. From August 15th to 17th, simply staying logged in for over 10 minutes grants a '[Cobo] Infinite Potion (1-day) Selection Cube'. There is also a Liberation Day special event running, offering double Resonance EXP depending on your current Resonance level.
