NX3 Games announced on the 26th that it has appointed Jung Yu-sik as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to strengthen the company's technical competitiveness.

CTO Jung Yu-sik will oversee the stability of the currently live service title, Lord Nine, and leverage his extensive experience in the MMORPG sector to lead the advancement of company-wide development environments and establish technical strategies for all future projects.

Previously, Jung served as the Lead Server Programmer for Blade & Soul 2 at NCSoft, where he was responsible for global services across South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and China. Leading the server development team, he spearheaded key areas such as server architecture redesign, account authentication system construction, and overseas launch support. With nearly 20 years of experience in online game development, he has accumulated deep technical expertise and operational know-how across the MMORPG landscape.

In addition to CTO Jung, a team of veteran developers specializing in database, server, and engine technologies—who have worked alongside him at NCSoft—has also joined the company. These experts are expected to drive the next generation of development capabilities at NX3 Games based on their practical experience in their respective fields.
