While the August heat is still blazing, a deep freeze has descended upon the Raven 2 Meca Ranking. The charts are showing signs of stagnation everywhere, as the dust finally settles from the balance adjustments, class change tickets, and server transfers that have been keeping things lively since July. We’ve also crunched the data on popular classes and ranker distribution across servers. Think of this as the final balance sheet for the environment throughout August.

To start, the popularity charts for each server are carbon copies of last week. The only shifts in the rankings occurred in the Metus servers of the Kerum and Mare worlds. In the former, the Assassin was swapped out for the Berserker, while in the latter, the Vanguard took the Assassin's spot. It seems the battle for dominance among melee classes is still very much a hot topic.

However, this mid-winter chill in the server TOP 3 charts is likely to thaw with the end of August. With a massive update on August 27th, the game launched sales for server transfer tickets. Since these charts heavily rely on the distribution of rankers, the impact of these tickets is massive. Conversely, because the overall class rankings aren't as sensitive to these shifts, it’s harder to predict what’s coming next. Let's break down the current state of each chart starting from the next section.

Overall Class Analysis

The overall ranker class sector shows remarkably little movement. Half of the classes kept their share exactly as is, and those that did move saw fluctuations of less than 0.3%. The chart has truly started to freeze over. It seems the balance patches from late July have successfully set the hierarchy in stone, concluding a month-long period of flux.

The highlight of this shift is the reshuffling of classes below the 4th spot. The newcomer, Deathbringer, which arrived to celebrate the 1st anniversary, has comfortably settled into 4th place. Coincidentally, both 3rd and 4th place are now occupied by new classes. The Vanguard and Destroyer, which once languished at the bottom of the popularity list, have climbed to 5th and 6th, respectively. Looking at the visuals, they’ve moved up a rung in harmony. On the flip side, the Berserker, which hovered between 4th and 5th, has slipped to 7th, and the Elementalist, once a powerhouse at 2nd place in the early days, has slid down to 8th. The Elementalist has seen the most dramatic rank volatility of all classes in Raven 2.

The Berserker is in a slightly different position, however. While the class is weak in the Meca Ranking, it holds a decent mid-tier status in the Tower of Chaos. Here, the performance of the Berserker is actually better than the popular Divine Caster or Deathbringer. The Berserker is known as a PVE-specialized class, a fact clearly illustrated by the combined data of the Meca Ranking and the Tower of Chaos records.

Global Class Analysis

The Global Region is just as quiet when it comes to class rankings and share shifts. In fact, the fluctuation range is even tighter, at a maximum of 0.1%. The core takeaway is that the trends in the Global Region and the Korean Region have completely diverged. The Divine Caster has secured 1st place, widening the gap with the Night Ranger to 6.4% points—a wall that won't be easy to scale. In the mid-to-lower tiers, the Berserker and Elementalist are holding their ground, leaving the Destroyer and Vanguard at the very bottom. Interestingly, the Destroyer maintains slightly higher popularity.

Guild Dungeon Ranking Records

Eighteen new guilds have joined the Guild Dungeon ranking, with the minimum requirement being the successful completion of Stage 3. Guilds already on the board are pushing hard to break their own records. Whether it’s the top 20 or the spots further down, there’s constant movement. It seems the guilds are burning with passion, as these numbers are a direct reflection of their prowess and specs. Or, perhaps, they just enjoy the pure thrill of record-breaking. Either way, the vibe is positive.

In the TOP 20, 'RoyalDanekkeo' has climbed two spots to take the throne. Their record from last week was 5th stage, 13 minutes and 22 seconds, which they’ve quickly slashed to 9 minutes and 43 seconds. The gap with the former 1st place, 'Bbak-eop-neun-nang-man', is now 2 minutes and 18 seconds. Closing that distance won't be an easy task.

In the upper echelons, 'DandanKiller' and 'VeteranClub' have updated their records. Both cleared the 5th stage, with the former cutting their time from 18:46 to 17:53, and the latter from 19:14 to 19:09. Additionally, 'FARMERS' from Kerum-Honor has put their name on the chart. We expect to see more guilds climbing the ranks and breaking records before the season ends.

PVP Ranking Status

PVP ranking peaks have dropped by more than half, likely due to participation being diverted by the Ancient Citadel matches last weekend. Still, the top rankers managed to maintain over 100 kills. 1st place goes to 'AdventureGuildKillingAccount', who has been lurking in the top tier of PVP rankings lately, with a record of 145 kills and 2 deaths. 2nd place goes to 'GLGwakDuPalJukTaengi', who finished the week with 118 kills and 4 assists.

For reference, 'AdventureGuildKillingAccount' was 2nd in the last Meca Ranking with 219 kills. The 1st place spot was held by 'Cantabile' with 326 kills. Both rankers belong to the Mare world. It’s a world where exceptionally high-kill rankers emerge, and one has to wonder what kind of skirmishes are playing out there.

Raven 2 Meca Ranking User Poll

Last week's Raven 2 Meca Ranking poll topic was on how to use Normal to Rare equipment. Opinions narrowed down to three, with a significant gap between 1st place and the rest. The top choice is 'Insert into Item Collection as much as possible'. It seems the foundation of growth in Raven 2 is 'shoring up the low end through internal reinforcement'. Following that, 2nd place is selling on the Exchange, and 3rd is using Rare equipment as materials for refinement. The gap is just 2 votes, which is razor-thin. If you’re looking for advice, I’d suggest doing both in parallel.
