Nexon announced on the 27th that it is teaming up with global card brand Bicycle to launch a limited-edition Blue Archive playing card set.

This collaboration is strictly limited to 7,500 decks. The set features 18 original illustrations themed after the game's various academies, with the four Joker cards designed to double as collectible photo cards.

Five artists—Gomyeon, Korukoruno, CHANxCO, Diyab, and Rina—lent their talents to the project, reimagining the Blue Archive cast through the lens of medieval Western fantasy.

Each suit reflects the distinct personality of the game's academies and clubs. Spades represent the Gehenna Prefect Team as golden-clad nobles, Hearts feature the Trinity Remedial Knights as mystical priests, Diamonds portray the Millennium Game Development Department as brilliant merchants, and Clubs depict the SRT Rabbit Platoon as courageous soldiers. The Joker cards feature Arona and Plana, styled as the Sun Goddess and Moon Goddess respectively, based on in-game cutscenes.

A celebratory event is also in the pipeline. Nexon will select 1,000 buyers on launch day, 200 participants from the Nexon Essential survey, and 200 winners of a video quiz to receive one of three exclusive card stickers. These stickers feature special collaboration art, including the sky of Kivotos, Arona, and Hina.

While primarily an online affair, fans can snag a deck in person as well. To mark the 140th anniversary of Bicycle, a pop-up store will run at The Hyundai Seoul (3rd floor, Yeouido) from August 28th at 10:30 AM through September 1st at 8:00 PM, featuring a dedicated Blue Archive x Bicycle exhibition.

The store will allocate 100 decks for daily on-site sales, with the first 100 customers who complete a survey receiving a card sticker. The venue will also host cardistry and magic shows, QR events, and dedicated exhibition and card game experience zones.

Bicycle, a brand celebrating its 140th year, has a long history of collaborating with major international IPs from the worlds of animation and gaming. This partnership with Blue Archive marks the first instance of Bicycle collaborating with a domestic Korean game developer.
