Honkai: Star Rail has officially locked in the release date for Version 3.6.

HoYoverse announced on the 15th that the Version 3.6 update, titled 'Back to the Land in the Long Night,' is set to arrive on the 24th. The update throws the landscape of Amporius into flux with the arrival of two new playable characters, 'Evernite' and 'Dan Heng · Deng Huang.' Alongside these, players can expect the high-difficulty trial 'Anomaly Mediation' and a flurry of new events.

'Evernite' joins the fray as a 5-star Ice character following the Path of Remembrance. The character embodies the forgotten past of Mar. 7th, viewing their own existence as a means to safeguard the future of Mar. 7th. Furthermore, Evernite aims to save Amporius by manifesting their imagined 'Re-creation Period.' Evernite boosts the critical damage of all Memory Spirits, a buff that scales more effectively the more characters of the Path of Remembrance are present in the party.

In addition, Evernite summons a Memory Spirit named 'Long Night.' The damage dealt by 'Long Night' scales with the accumulation of 'Memory Material.' Once this material reaches a certain stack threshold, 'Long Night' unleashes damage upon all enemies. Upon triggering the Ultimate, Evernite deals damage to all foes and enters a special enhanced state called 'Darkest Riddle' alongside 'Long Night.' Using combat skills in this state allows for additional 'Memory Material' acquisition, further amplifying the offensive potential of 'Long Night.'

'Dan Heng · Deng Huang' returns to Amporius, braving peril to reunite with the Astral Express crew by unleashing the power of 'Deng Huang' to take on a defensive role. As a 5-star Physical character on the Path of Preservation, Dan Heng · Deng Huang can designate a party member as a 'Comrade,' summoning 'Dragon Spirit' to cleanse one debuff and provide a shield. Simultaneously, the character grants stackable shields to the entire team.

The Ultimate deals damage to all enemies and provides shields to all allies, while strengthening 'Dragon Spirit' to launch follow-up attacks on all enemies based on the combat prowess of the 'Comrade.' Players who have reached Trailblaze Level 3 or higher can claim Dan Heng · Deng Huang for free simply by logging in before the end of Version 4.0.

The new periodic high-difficulty challenge, 'Anomaly Mediation,' rewards players with valuable items such as the new 'Interference Cipher Key.' Meanwhile, a variety of events like the Dromas cultivation event 'It's a Fine Day to Grow!' and 'Colorful Brawl' will be rolled out in sequence.

Furthermore, a story replay feature is being introduced, allowing players to revisit completed Trailblaze Missions, Trailblaze Continuances, and Companion Missions. Specific storylines and cinematic animations can now be rewatched at your leisure.
